Trevor Jackson is a major force in electronic music in the UK.  His career began in the early 90's as a record cover designer, he then ventured into record production and remixing.

He founded both influential hip-hop label 'Bite It Recordings' and the ferociously creative and independent 'Output Recordings' (introducing acts such as Four Tet, Black Strobe, Colder, The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem and his own Playgroup project).  He’s also remixed many diverse artists including Massive attack, Franz Ferdinand, Yello, The Gossip and U2. His recent artwork for the Belgian band Soulwax received international accolades and he's currently concentrating on expanding his creative vision into various new multi-media projects and events.
 

Trevor Jackson opens the Optronica festival at the IMAX with the World premier live performance of a specially commissioned contemporary visual music work entitled RGBPM.  The performance features entirely new music, with real-time generated hi-definition abstract images and synchronised visual and audio effects.  All elements were produced together in parallel to each other with a combination of specially created software and existing hardware programmed and developed by Weirdcore. With its minimalist geometric forms and dynamic score, it’s an exploration in melody and form, rhythm and colour, synchronisation and composition.

RGBPM promises to be a full-on multi-sensory experience.
