The OPTRONICA LOUNGE returns... A place to meet, greet, drink and generally hang-out between screenings and shows. The Optronica Lounge is situated in the delegate center, there’ll be video screenings on plasmas, interactive installations helped along nicely by drinks kindly provided by Cobra. OPENING TIMES: from Thursday 15th - Sunday 18th from 12pm till 9pm (except Sunday where the Lounge closes at 6pm).

This year features several interactive AV installations: GRIDIO - a giant human sequencer and techno toy presented by Brightonart & Coldcut, featuring content by the VJamm Allstars and Headspace. Lightning Rod’s analogue and video interaction installation LIGHT BOX, along with REACTABLE - who’ll also be performing as part of Optronica Lab. You’ll be able to literally get your hands (and feet in the case of Gridio) on installations themselves and have a play!   Video installations include new work from DVD labels LightRhythm and the Addictive TV imprint, and from Italian curators Digicult and VJcentral.it.
